C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. is obliged in accordance with the Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 to provide protection of customers’ personal data by collecting only necessary, basic data about customers required for fulfilment of our obligations; it informs customers about the purpose of use of the collected data, enables them to decide about the use of their data, about removal of their names from the lists used for the purpose of marketing campaigns. All customer’s data are kept in strict confidence and are available only to employees requiring such data for performance of their duties. All employees and business partners of C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. are responsible for observance of principles of privacy protection.

Collection and use of information
C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. In provision of services requested and communicating information about your purchases and in other services we will use only information voluntarily provided to us. We will not to sell, disclose or give this information to any third parties other than stated in this statement.

Registration
In order to make reservation or to send an inquiry on this website the user should register by completing the registration form beforehand. In the process of registration the user is requested to give contact details (such as name and e-mail address). The information is used to get in touch with the user when answering questions asked on our website and to secure privacy of the user when controlling the status of reservation, entries and change of data.

Reservation
When making reservation for goods and other services offered on this site, we will ask for personal data from the reservation subject (such as name, address, phone etc.). The information will solely be used to complete the service. Payment details (such as card numbers etc.) are particularly protected by protocols of the highest security level and will only be available to banks i.e. card institutions for the purpose of payment authorisation.

Log files
IP addresses are solely used to analyse trends, maintain website, monitor user trends and gather wider demographic data.  IP addresses are not related to personal data which identify a person.

Availability of  information
The demographic data collected will be available to our media partners, professionals and advertisers. This has nothing to do with personal data by which it is possible to identify a person.  In order to provide special services we may cooperate with third parties. Only if the user registers for these services, the names or other contacts necessary to provide these services will be available to third parties. Third parties are not permitted to use personal data other than to provide these services.

Newsletter
Contact information, such as names and e-mail addresses will be requested in the case that users wish to register for receipt of special C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. newsletters. By registration on our mailing list the user gives consent for the use of his/her e-mail address in the processing of personal data. Questionnaires
Our website occasionally requests data from users by means of questionnaires. Participation in such questionnaires (e.g. prize games) is fully voluntarily and user may freely decide to provide or to refuse to provide the data requested. The data requested may include contact information (such as name or home address) and demographic data (such as postal number or age). Contact information will be used to inform award and prize winners. Questionnaire results will be used to monitor and update C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H website and/or our services.

Privacy policy applies to all personal data of users collected and processed by us, directly or through our partners.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or directly or indirectly identifiable natural person. Data processing is any operation which is performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, retrieval or transmission of personal data. This policy does not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous information is an information which does not relate to a particular natural person.

Which data are collected by us
Personal data: name, surname, address, contact number, email address, date of birth, number of identity card, personal identity number (OIB)
Photographs and video recordings: on use of video surveillance
Information about sale and services: information about purchases, including user identity of the customer, contract number and information about warranties, claims under warranties, delivery, support and services, including complaints and claims.

Purpose of data collection
Sale and servicing of products – to process your sale, to configure and service your product C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. will collect personal data, information about the sale and service as well as information about customer’s history when purchasing, servicing or repairing the product purchased from us, including claims arising from warranties and trials and will use them to provide services requested by you and to inform you about questions relating to your product and fulfilment of the executed contract.
Provision of personal data for the purpose of contract fulfilment is a contractual obligation and failure to provide data may affect or even prevent due fulfilment of the concluded contract.

Client support and marketing – for answers to inquiries and communication of news and offers
C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. collects personal data and may use them to provide support to clients, to answer inquiries and complaints and to estimate which news and offers would most likely be interesting for you and to contact you in this respect in accordance with your interests.
Video surveillance – to control entries to and exits from working premises and offices and to reduce employees’ exposure to robbery, burglary, violence, theft and similar events at work or in connection with work.

Transfer to third parties
Personal data may be transferred to third parties provided that there is a legal basis for the transfer.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following subjects:
1) To realise delivery agreements the data will be shared with providers of distribution services with whom we cooperate and have entered agreements. Distribution services providers may ask the user on delivery of goods or services to show a personal document for identification and/or for recording of particular data from the document. If the user refuses to give information necessary for the delivery of a package i.e. a proof about the purchaser, it will not be possible to perform the service or deliver goods.
2) Authorised dealers dealing with complaints about products within warranty period or warranty claims of users due to defects or impossibility of use of the product for reasons important for the user.
3) Prize competition sponsors in the process of awarding prizes to users. If the user does not wish that C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. shares data with the sponsors for the purpose of awarding a prize, we advise the user not to take part in such activities, neither in shops nor on internet webpages of C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H.
4) Governmental institutions requesting the data for inspection because of some other processing of such data or the need of  C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H. to exercise rights due to non-fulfilment of service agreements.

How long do we retain your data
Personal data are stored and processed by us only for as long as needed to perform particular legitimate purposes unless applicable regulations provide for a longer storage period for a particular purpose, minimum however during the term of the agreement between the user and C&C Handels – und Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H.
In the case of a given consent for marketing, the data are kept until withdrawal of the consent.  In the case of a refused consent, where no consent for marketing is given, the data relating to the offer are retained one year, and if we are requested to erase the data, the data will be erased fully and immediately.
Personal data which are no longer needed are either irreversibly anonymised or destroyed in a safe way.
